McClure Family

I love this family.

And I am fortunate enough to be related to them.

Sherry is the Queen of her castle. All her boys love her.

And it shows:

I am loving her Red top too.

“The best thing to hold onto in this life is each other.”

Amy-you are so precious to us! Your words mean so much to me. Thank you for taking the time to capture some memories of these fleeting days! I love you.

Cousin Photos

It is time to take the annual cousin picture for our precious Mimi.

These photos are a little extra special because they are the first taken at Mimi and Grandpa’s new house.

Don’t you LOVE that door. Oh my. Can all our photos be taken there, forever?

Oh, and I guess the subjects deserve some love too. Swoon. They are so precious.

From left to right:

Sarah – Family Princess (on both sides mind you) and she is treated as such by all. Yet, don’t let that fool you. She can hold her own with these fellas.

Jacob – Linebacker in training, tough as nails, a real guy’s guy. Yet, he has such a sweetness to him.

Caleb – By age, he has the privilege of being pack leader (again on both sides).

Sam – Our family scholar and golf guru.

They are each so special.

AND, they can have fun:

I love J’s hand on his head. Seriously CUTE, right? As if he is saying, I just cannot believe you guys.

Feeling pretty grateful.

A cousin is a ready-made friend for life.

Nana

We  had a great visit with Nana.

It never is enough time, but we are grateful for what we had.

She spoils us.

We pack in as much as we can while she’s here.

Thank you, Nana, for spending your vacation with us.

Caleb is sporting his football gloves. PE is first period and they are playing football this week. I think he is taking it pretty seriously.

Cannot think of a better way to spend my vacation. I so love those kids! It was really special for me this time because I got to spend time with my daughter and those times are few & far between so we made the most of every second! I leave a part of my heart in Texas everytime I leave…

Homecoming Cheer

There is something about Homecoming.

It brings an entire school together. There are signs to be hung, Pep Rallies to attend, BBQ dinners to be eaten, Queens to be crowned, and a ballgame to be played.

It is so fun for the kids.

The Junior Cheerleaders preformed at halftime and they did a great job!

Can you see the energy oozing out of her? And look at that High Kick! Way to go Sarah girl.

What special memories these girls will have:

Sarah is the Proud Spotter in this stunt! I love that she is so happy with whatever task she is given. Her coach has done so well at explaining the importance of a spot in protecting the flier.

Have fun Sarah girl. I love having a front row seat in your life!

Green! Gold! Green! Gold! GOOOOOO Warriors!

You guessed right.

It’s a Pep Rally!

I tell you, Sarah, can do Spirit! Her friends too!

Then, you have these Cool Cats:

The Pep Rallies have come a long way since my day. The lights went out and then students came out with neon lights and drums. Oh my! I was ready to dance (but my son may not have liked that so much, so I contained my self):

Look at these Jr. Cheerleaders. So proud of their stunts. Sarah is waaaayyyy on the other end, as luck would have it, spotting a stunt.

Off to the ballgame! Go Warriors!
