Ballet

Sarah started taking a combination of Ballet and Jazz class this year.

It has seriously been the sweetest, cutest thang ever…

My girl has so surprised me. I really thought Jazz would be more her thing. Sarah is a very bouncy, twirly, busy, kind of girl. We had tried Ballet a couple years back and she just could not stay still long enough to learn 1rst, 2nd, 3rd, etc, etc, positon….

But this time it is very different. She “feels” the music. She acts the motions… Does that make sense? She gives Ballet a little added drama twist. And…

is very elegant in doing so…

Don’t you love it when they surprise you?

There are many sides to our Sarah…

She’s crazy and wild, yet so tender and sweet.

May she always be…

Amy, your photos always bring tears to my eyes. Sarah is indeed an elegant, beautiful young lady with a skip in her step that no one can match. What a joy she is!

Nana’s Pictures

Yes, I am still playing catch up…

But I can’t let these memories just pass without documentation….

I am a little bit nuts about my photos…

No one ever really wants to take them at the time….

But, I have yet to meet one person who wasn’t glad to have them once they get them…

Even my brother has a deep appreciate for these pictures and let me tell you…. He is worse than any child about the “family shoot”.

I love watching people see their photos for the first time….

They see these moments in time forever frozen…and their heart melts.

Moral of the story. Give the photographer in your family some respect…

You will forever be grateful. I promise.

And those that come after you will know a little bit about their history…

What’s the saying?

“You have to know where you come from to know where you are going?”

That could have some truth to it, I guess…

Either way, I just know these make me smile.

It was my favorite from the trip.

I am sad to say that since it was taken, BJ has gone missing.

We loved him. He was a good dog.

My favorite memory of him: When he was just about 8 weeks old (ish), we all witnessed this dog swim across the pond to get to us… I thought Jessica was about to go in and rescue him, but he made it. We knew that day, he was a strong one.

Thankful for the time we had with him.
